Custom app drawer?

A friend of mine has a Droid with CM6 and his app drawer displays horizontal and when you scroll instead of actually moving all the apps over it flips all the icons to the new ones. (Kinda hard to describe...)

Any ideas how I can do this to my Inc running CM7?

Was this one of the features they had in CM6 but got rid of in CM7?

Sounds like he's using something like GO Launcher Ex, or another home screen replacement.
