Custom boot animation

What are the exact specs needed in the desc file to make a custom boot animation play on my Droid 4? I downloaded a boot animation and put it in the system/media folder, but it never shows. I only get a blank screen when I boot up.

Right now, I have the parameters set as: 540 960 15.

I've also googled for custom boot animations for the Droid 4, but can find nothing related to this particular phone.

if your phone is rooted, download liberty tool box.
they have loads of boot animations and boot logos. to install/download etc. free.
i bought the paid version. there is no dif.

also teh maker jim rummy could prolly help you out on making an animation.
