I love this feature of Astro as it even allows you to extract design elements from themes that were built for different home apps.

I will assume that you have already downloaded and installed the desired theme/icon pack apk, so here goes...

  1. Open Astro File Manager, then press the left soft key/options button and select tools.
  2. Select Application Manager/Backup
  3. Choose the desired theme/icon pack and then hit "backup"
  4. Navigate to Astro's home screen, then open the backup folder
  5. Inside of that there should be a folder called "Apps" which once opened ought to contain the application apk
  6. Long press on the apk and then choose "Extract"
  7. Click Extract to New Directory and create a new folder name
  8. For home themes the graphical elements are stored in a file called Meta-Inf while they can be found in Assets for icon packs.
  9. Technically your done just move the graphical elements to the DCIM folder and have fun!
