Custom Keyboard Overlay?

Hi,

I recently modded my Nintendo Switch to run android which is super cool because now I can run Steam Link Ect. which is awesome. One game I'd like to play is "Sea Dogs: City Of Abandoned Ships" which is an old game with a REALLY stupid control configuration that you cant really change.

The steam link does a good job at transposing the control scheme to the controllers but for example to open your inventory is F2 which you can't remap which makes it impossible to play on the switch.

What I want to do is find an app where I can configure an F2 button (and preferably a few others) to be over the screen so I can play the game like that? I don't really know what to search but I bet it exists somewhere.

Google keyboard does help, it does modify to whatever you want with the handwriting also keyboard suggestions too
