Help Custom notification ring tone on the Pulse Mini

Hi there. I'm looking to get a separate ringtone for my messaging/email, and I would like these to be custom (e.g. mp3 files copied to the phone). I know how to set a separate ringtone for different notifications, what I'm having trouble with is the customising.

I've read at various other places to create a "notifications" folder on the microSD card, and then supposedly the mp3 files in that folder will show up. However, this doesn't work for me. Any suggestions? Thanks .

I've got the same problem. I've created the sdcard/media/audio/notifications directory and put an mp3 file in it, but that file doesn't show up in the selector list when I try to set a notification ringtone.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

download and install winamp 0.9.2 beta and play some song that you like. than press "menu" on your phone and it will show option to set that song for your ringtone.
