First and foremost, hello everyone. I'm new to droid modification. I have a cheap droid that I've been able to do very much with, but im always looking to see what more I can do.
I'm a fan of customization, and what would please me most right now would be a custom pulldown menu. Now I've spent a good amount of time looking into it, downloaded ninjamorph and found out that my droid is not rooted - which lead me into the grey area of whether or not I want to risk rooting my droid.
I have not be able to confirm there have been any successful "rootings" on my particular phone:
Samsung Admire (SKU: SCHR720ZAAM)
Gingerbread 2.3
Should I go through with the rooting process?? or is there a simpler way to have a custom pulldown menu?? Plz Help - thank you in advance.
