Custom SMS alerts per sender

I have set up the folders necessary on my SD card so that I can access the notification alert sounds that I would like to use. The problem I am having now is that I want to set one alert sound for contact a, a different alert sound for contact b, etc... I was able to set my ringtones this way but can't figure out how to set the notification alerts. Is this even possible??

Settings in Handcent are rite in their face for all types of customization.. Som people want to hav things done for them instead of jus looking @ the settings...

Thatz why the question probably more than likely goes unanswered...

I found it on another forum. When you send or receive a text message you can access the setting for that recipient / sender and set the notification sound for them.
