I've been getting calls at least every other day for the last two weeks from an 847 number. I googled and found that it belongs to Verizon and is a customer survey. I have no desire to take this survey and figured if I ignored it, they'd stop harassing me. Thanks to Android, I've got it set to go straight to voicemail (they never leave any) and never hear it ring, but it is getting really annoying to see that missed call notification, think it's something important, and then see that number for the millionth time.
Does anyone know what's up with this survey thing? Is there a point to it at all and do I need to actually answer the phone to tell them I have no interest in taking the survey? You'd think they'd get the hint, but apparently not.
