Customizable time interval alarm?

Bjornfree

Lurker
I want to be able to have a signal go off every 60 minutes (or 30 ... ) but not on the hour, so that, let's say, I hear a chime (or whatever) at 10:15, then 11:15, etc. I can't find any app that will do this. Any suggestions?

Gentle alarm, maybe? I just got it myself, so I haven't fully explored it, but it's got a ton of options. Try the free version first.

Thanks. I have tried Gentle Alarm and Alarm Clock +, which does have a chime, but only on the hour.

UPDATE: In case anyone has the same need, my long search brought me to 1st Clock, which runs on Win7 64 bit. It's a no frills, developers' program, and because of this is customizable in every way. I have it set to sound a single beep at the quarter hour, between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., M-F. I need this for my work. I could set up many other alarms, launch programs, etc. And not only is there a great selection of sounds, you can select what instrument, out of 20 or so, will play that sound, in addition to playing your own mp3s. I have just started the trial, but I'm sure I will pay the $30 in a few days.

I have something similar call Interval Reminder in Android Market. You set a start and end time and a ringtone for reminder. Then you set the interval to sound e.g 10 minutes, 15 minutes etc. So within start and end time every 10, 15 minutes the ringtone ring. You may want to test if it fit your needs.

While this is an old thread I had the same exact problem. After reviewing many apps I found one that is working very well - Time Alert by Daniel Jung (there are a few with same name), and it's free. You select all hrs you want the reminder & under INTERVAL, you select any & all desired intervals (i.e. 5, 10, 15 - 55 minutes). Decent nbr of sounds to choice from. I like every 20 mins - so I select 0 (top of the hr), 20m & 40m.

Thought I'd post since I never thought it would take 2.5 hrs to find what I thought was a simple request.
