Customization of droid eris

Hello, I'm new to this. But I received my droid eris about 3 months ago. The trackball is broken and my phone has a mind of its own. A new one is on the way, luckily. Anyways, I was wondering what applications are out there for the customization of this phone. I'm bored with it already but i know there is much more i can do. Let me know!
