I was wondering if anyone knew of an application for free that gives me a home screen like this

or something other then the normal homescreen, something really customized, and i was also wondering if anyone knew of an application that uses the iphone bubbles for sms, an app that doesnt suck like chompsms or whatever, someything more legit

Handcent lets you set it up like the iPhone.

There are tons of home screen replacements: Panda Home, Open Home, Sweeter Home, Slide Screen, etc... They also have various themes for each.
