Customize Notification sound?

Hi everyone,

I am using a Samsung S6. Is there a way to customize Notification sound for a specific app? So basically my point is that whenever I receive a motion detection notification on my Lorex wifi cam I want my phone to send me the loudest notification possible. But I cant seem to find a way to customize notification sound only for that app. Also at night time I turn off all notifications so is there a way to keep Lorex app notification on while my phone is on silent. I am using Android 7

You would need to assign a sound within the lorex app itself, and I do not see that option.

I miss that from the Pocket PCs.
My supervisor has different ringtones for different people but no customized notifications.
Someone should make an app for that.

I'm pretty sure that it could be done with a MacroDroid/Tasker action.

I use MacroDroid, and for a macro such as this, no. Root is not necessary.

So MacroDroid is just an app which can allow for loud notifications from certain apps?
My point is I want to have my phone on silent but if I get a notification from Lorex app (if i have a motion detection) while I am sleeping then I want it to send me the loudest notification possible so I can wake up and check

MacroDroid is an automation app.
It has the ability to do numerous things. You can have it to play whatever sound, that you have on your device, when a notification arrives. It can override the system when its in quiet mode.
