Root customize status bar icons

I recently installed Fission 2.4 on my Droid 2 and I was wondering if there was any way to change the look of the battery, cell coverage, wifi, and 3G icons. I know this can be done by switching themes but I don't really want a whole new theme, I just want different icons in the status bar. Is this possible?

Go to Fission ROM Manager and install a different theme. Before you download and install a theme make a backup of the original Fission and before you download and install and switch themes always go back to the original Fission.
The different themes have different looks so download the different ones and find the one you like.
