Customizing the razr

I have had my Droid Razr for a couple of months and still learning the cool features on it. I didn't know with this phone is there was ways of customizing it? I had the Incredible 2 before this phone, so this one is a lot different, I know a lot of things are voice activated on it. If there's is anything I am missing or you do with yours and have suggestions please let me know thank you!!!!

The best thing you can do is to invest some time reading through the many helpful threads on this forum. There are lots of customization options available on this handset. Then if you really want to personalize it, you can get into rooting.

I know this sounds dumb, but what is rooting?
