Help CWM shenanigans

So today i tried to install the CM12 nightly on my phone. Made a backup, a full factory reset and everything but I can't flash the update because CWM says it can't install the package on top of incompatible data and lists the zip itself as incompatible data. I do not understand what I am supposed to do, perhaps I'm missing something simple. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I would assume the nightly is from the same dev for your device/carrier?
Perhaps a fresh download of the .zip?
Could it be listed in the OP for the nightly that what you experience could be an issue?
