Root Cyanogenmod Installation for MS323 - couple of questions

Camo341

Newbie
So I've been researching on installing cyanogenmod for my LG MS323, using this, for CM12, and this for CM12.1 . I have a couple of questions if you guys don't mind answering:

  • I wanna install 12.1 but it says it needs TWRP. Is that necessary, because I already have CWM v6.0.5.0 installed?
  • It mentioned a file called 'aboot.bin' for your lg l70 variant. Do I need that, since mine is an MS323? I found the file here. It's meant for D320, and although one comment said that it was working for MS323 - w5, I just wanna be safe.
  • Lastly, which one should I install first? CM12, or CM12.1?

1. TWRP IS NECESSARY OR ELSE YOU WILL HAVE KEY PROBLEMS! (Back will be menu, home will be back, ect ect)

2. It is only necessary if your getting an error while booting, or having data/other problems like keys stated above.

If you have an incorrect one, use one from here:

3. CM12.1, CM12 is gone from @vm03's servers I think.

Oh, alright thanks for all the clarification. I guess ill skip the aboot thing since I don't have any issues with keys. Should I flash the twrp recovery image from this site then?
I have a screenshot here.
What's concerning me is how nandroid manager says lollipop. My current version is kitkat and I don't know if that will result in a brick.
