Phone A: Primary line - Upgraded August2010 (premier Status)
Phone B - Secondary line - Upgraded January 2011 (Secondary line)


Phone A - Upgrades phone August 2011 as a premier customer

September 2011 - Make Secondary line Premier line (takes 90 days)

Phone B - Uses premier upgrade January 2012?

This is how it would work.

Phone B upgrades in January 2011 with regular 22 month discount. Phone A upgrades in August 2011 using the 12 month premier discount. There will not be another premier discount available on the account until August 2012, since that was the last time the premier discount was used. It's available 12 months from the last time it was used, regardless of how long it's been since the new "primary" was upgraded. Otherwise they'd just make every line upgradeable every 12 months and save the hassle of having to switch them back and forth (which half the reps don't seem to understand how to do, anyway, and will *ALWAYS* mess it up if you ever have to change your plan)
