Root D1710 rooted trojans

Just finished typing for a half hour and then when I went to post lost it.

I rooted my Samsung Epic 4g with the
Sph-d710.el29 cl802597_rooted rom.

The other day all my yahoo contacts got spammed from my e-mail account.

I installed Kaspersky on the phone, uninstalled anything hookey and changed my passwords

So today the same thing happens again

This Wow this is amazing look at this spam.

Anyone have any ideas I have removed yahoo mail and facebook from the phone.

Any ideas

Uh, it doesn't have to be your phone. Could be your PC, or your Yahoo account has been compromised. Besides, Yahoomail sucks and is prone to get spam virus anyway, even unused ones. Use Gmail or Hotmail.

It is coming from my phone, I can tell by the header in the raw message. I used to use G-mail a lot but there recent privacy changes suck. I never put a picture up on my gmail so they just went and stole the one off facefook.

I try to keep up on my privacy, but it is just hopeless.

Change your email password to something more complex.

First thing I did was to change my passwords, and they were all pretty complex. The problem was my yahoo mail had access to my account on the the phone and the Trojan had access to it.
I ran Kapersky and it found it infected and I thought I was ok.

Next day same thing.
Did a data reset, re downloaded the rom and was much more careful about the apps that I installed.

Two days and no problems so far.

Just a lesson learned there is a lot of crap out there be careful what you install to your phone.
