Root D2G stuck on Bootloader and Moto Icon -Please help!

I'm pretty new to this stuff, so any advice is greatly greatly appreciated!

I was trying to get my D2G to CyanogenMod's custom ROM. So I did the following:

SBF'd to .29 with RSDlite,
rooted the phone with z4root,
OTA'd to .330,
installed the GB leak (everything was still fine up to here),
then tried installing the current CM7 build listed here. Upon getting to the bootloader, I didn't wipe to factory reset, and went ahead with installing the update.zip. It seemed to work, and then my phone restarted and stayed stuck on the white Motorola icon. I can get it to bootloader if I hold "x" when turning it on, but even after doing factory resets and wiping the cache over dozens of times, I can never get past the white Motorola icon.

I don't know how to SBF back, since my RSDlite program doesn't recognize my phone (it only recognized it when my phone was up and running). I'm really hoping it's not bricked!

Thank you so so much in advance!

Oops, x13thangelx solved this by pointing out my silly mistake. For reference, this is what he/she said:

***************
boot into the bootloader by holding up on the keyboard (x is stock recovery, not the bootloader) then go into RSD lite.

If you still have a white M then you arent on GB, your still on froyo.
***************

Thanks!

Yes that thread is actually wrong I assume. If you want to flash CM7.1 on a D2G you HAVE to sbf back to Froyo, root, Clockworkmod, install .zip from sd card. I had this same problem when I flashed 7.1

Let me know if you need more help
