Darken Wallpaper?

Is there a way to 'darken' a wallpaper? Or some sort of overlay that blacks out the wallpaper slightly - so reading text is easier & cleaner. Thanks!

I don't know of a way to do that on the phone.

Are you talking about a live wallpaper or a static one? If it's not a live one, I can darken it for you, no problem. Just post it here, or describe it the best you can and I'll see if I can find it, and I'll get it done pretty quick.
