Root Darky's rom and upgrading Android to 3.0

Hey guys

There's something that dont seem so obvious to me and I would like to know even if its stupid to ask:

After upgrading Darky's to version 10.1, while havind Android version 2.3.3, can I upgrade Android to version 3.0?
Will I need to downgrade Android version so I could upgrade Darky's next version or anything like that?

Isn't that Honeycomb? Which is for tablets - why on Earth would you put that on your phone (when you obviously can't).

First of all, we don't know if there will be an Ice Cream Sandwich (2.4) for the Galaxy S. But if there will, most probably it will be flashable through Odin, so... I'm pretty much certain you're safe, in any way.

Honeycomb doesnt support the most basic feature of a phone, the ability to make calls, theres really 0 point in upgrading to it
