Dashwire Like application???

Hey,

I have just switched to android from windows mobile. There was a piece of software called dashwire which allowed you to send text messages from a website through a client installed on the Phone.

I am in Canada so google voice isn't an option yet and I used it at work so I am unable to install any software on the computer.

Does anyone know of anything that would allow me to use my computer keyboard to send text messages from a computer without any admin access?

Thank you for the response, but not really what I am looking for.

Looking for a service with a client on the phone which I can access through a web portal and send/receive text messages through my own phone. Or something similar. I want to be sending messages from my own phone/number, etc...

Anybody else have any ideas?

Does Dashwire let you reply to an email address like txtDrop.com - Completely Free Text Messaging or do you have to reply to the phone #?
