Help Data Maximizer not Working w/Youtube With Porting Promo 30$/6 gigs plan

My girlfriend has the Data Maximizer (metro's equivalent of Binge on) checkbox enable, and she reached 6 gigs last night and her data is now slowed. 1.7 gigs was youtube, per the android mobile data me, which is close to what the mymetro app says has been used. She's on a $30 6GB Talk Text and Data Family Promotion plan with me. WTH?

Data Maximizer isn't exactly like Binge On.

With MetroPCS the video data used still counts toward your limit, but it's reduced to 480p so you can watch up to 3x as much compared to watching at 1080p.

I didn't see a list on the Metro website, but I'd guess many video sites are included.

Does tmobiles plan make the streaming unlimited? Or does it just lower the bitrate as on metropcs?

If you're on a 3GB or higher T-Mobile plan that qualifies for Binge On streaming from approved sites does not count towards your limit.
