Hello, let me say that I have no experience with this sort of stuff, so feel free to talk to me like I'm five.
Yesterday I dropped my Droid 2 Global in water. I have insurance, so I got a replacement phone. I transferred my old SD card into the new phone, followed the activation instructions, but when it turned on, the data on the card was no longer the same. It mounts, it's accessible, it's just DIFFERENT. All the data that was on it when it was in the old phone is no longer there. I put it back in the old phone and reactivated it (THANK GOODNESS IT STILL WORKS FOR NOW), and the card is fine; all my backups are there. I then activated the new phone w/o the old card, then inserted it afterward, thinking that would help, but I still get the same problem. Am I missing a step? Doing something wrong? I have my texts and photos backed up on the SD card, along with my backup for all my MoneyWise transactions. Why does it just DISAPPEAR? I currently have the card back in the old phone, but I don't know if it will continue to function. Please help!!
My phone is not rooted.
