Hello,

I had a few issues with my HTC One XL, and decided to take the plunge and factory restore my phone. I backed up all my photos, and got to restoring it.

Once it was done I realised that I hadn't backed up my notes. These notes were quite important to me. Is there any way to get these notes back? My phone is not rooted and on Android 4.2.2. This wouldn't be such a hassle if my phone wasn't running in MTP when I plug it into my computer.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the notes I'm after are on the standard 'Notes' app that is pre-installed onto the phone.

I did NOT register with Evernote, so that is not an option.
 
Aren't the notes synced to your HTC account? Have you set that up yet? I recall it's an option on initial setup.

If no, I think they're gone for good I'm afraid. :(
