Does anyone know whether we are charged for receiving data, just sending or both sending and receiving?

you have unlimited up and down bandwidth till at least October when they will throttle back after 2.5 GB so to answer this no, it is part of the beyond talk plan you are on.

I think you would have to be doing quite a bit to use 2.5gb in a month. I'm an average user and in one billing cycle I've used 385mb (that's only 15%) of 2.5gb.

Snag 3G Watchdog from the Market so you can check out what your monthly usage would be if you set it to 2.5gb.

Edit: Wow, you're from Fayettnam.. small world lol. I grew up there!

How much do you use it? I should see what I use. I know I use Pandora ALOT. Any time I get in the car. But then again, whenever home I am using Wifi..... so it feels like I use it alot, but really not alot trough the VM network....... Still, I just don't like the idea of caps

Virgin has stated that this will only cap about 3% of current users. And this isn't a cap that after 2.5gb you have no more data, you still have unlimited data. You just can't get 3g speeds after the initial 2.5gb.

They barely have 3G speeds as it is, if they throttle after 2.5 gigs I'll be supplying them with 3G. ;)
