Hi guys, i know it's strictly not the right forum, but lately i've had alot of trouble accessing the site, with database errors, running daily backups. Is it just me or a site problem in general?

I've also had some problems with "Updating Database" errors. Not just at home either. Over at my mate's house too.

I've seen that more often than usual, but I spent more time than usual on the site yesterday, so couldn't say whether it is significant.

Yes, it has definitely been happening a lot. I believe the admins/site developers have identified the problem, so hopefully we won't be waiting too long for a fix.

Yes Ive seen it more than usual too. Also seem to have it daily at 08:00 BST (GMT+1) and think this is an actual scheduled backup. It always seems to happen after posting a post though which is annoying, but I understand the requirement. I'd rather that the potential risk of data loss

I was just about to post this, but wanted to search first. Glad I did. This happens DAILY when accessing from a pc. Could the time be adjusted to when the traffic is the lowest? lol. Not the middle of the day?
