A sad day for music today as we lose one of the greatest Jazz musicians, Dave Brubeck

His music really got me into Jazz at a young age, and he was a true pioneer, bringing never heard before time signatures into Jazz and mixing many genres into his music.

I have his 'Time Out' album. I'll have to listen to it when I get home tonight. I don't claim to be a jazz expert but if someone asked me where to get started with jazz I would probably recommend 'Time Out' along with Miles Davis' 'Kind of Blue' album.
