That does sound very high. Over what period of time did it use 60%?

Welcome to Android Forums dave.

Your best bet for device specific questions in in the proper SGSII forum (I'd give a link but I am very bad at differentiating. You will find the phone forums about a third of the way down the homepage.

Off the top of my head, Android OS using 60% of your battery may be a bit misleading. If your batter is at 90% charged, then it has only used 60% of the 10% consumed, or 6% of the total charge. I hope that makes sense.
