Help Daydream Mode, not working

kaslkaos

Newbie
I've tried to activate daydream, but nothing happens. Daydream is on, and I've tried beanflinger (yes, I found that jellybean) and now timely (which I installed and comes up in the daydream menu).
Maybe I'm missing something, but from what I read Daydream if activated should start up a screensaver (chosen from the Daydream menu) if your tablet is plugged in /charging when the screen times out (mine is set at 5 minutes).
Yes, I have daydream set at ON (green button), and tried Timely and Beanflinger.
Am I missing a step? I know this is really not a necessary thing, but I thought it would be nice to have activated
Any help or none, thanks for taking the time to read, and or respond to my stupid questions. My last question was majorly embarrassingly stupid and so very nicely answered.
Thanks, Ingrid

Good gosh, I think I finally answered my own question (although I need to get home to test it with the charger)
Turns out the green button (ON) and choosing an app is not the last step.
One more to go, press the options button, (at the screen edge), ta da. Still need to test, but I think I've got, as I get the daydream now option and it works.

So to keep this post from being totally useless, here's how you access the Bean Flinger.

Go into settings-->about device--> find the Versions bar and start tapping it. Have fun.
