Hello Folks,
My nephew contacted me with a problem:
His LG L70 is broken...
What happend (his story):
There was a popup / alert / message from google with an OK button. He didn't read it and pressed OK. Now he's looking at a nice DemiGod Crash Handler : DBI Err Fatal!

My questions:
1. What causes this? All I can find is rooting related stuff? Is it really possible that a app or droid updated caused this?
2. Can I retrieve dump information somewhere on the phone so I can go Sherlock on him (I don't quit trust his story)
3. What the ... should I do to fix this? use a specific flash or recovery tool
(basic family rules: be honest and I fix computer/tablet/phone issues for free if I can, if he's not and I find out : it wil cost him a 2,5 euro donation per hour of my work to the local Salvation Army soup kitchen)...
