Dear Google, Here is a music player suggestion

I would argue that one of the biggest weaknesses of the Android platform is their unimpressive music player. This is particularly lame given that this is what the competition does best.

I would like to make a suggestion to to big boys over at Google. Contact the guys over at Winamp! Winamp has been one of the biggest names in Windows music players since MP3's were still in diapers. Ask them, hell HIRE them! to make you an Android version of their player. Maybe let it sync with their desktop application, streaming utilities, plugins, etc. Replace your basic music player with a fully functional and sync-able version of Winamp and put yet another nail in A*ple and, M*crosoft's coffins.

You do realize that Google doesn't provide the stock music player on most phones right? For most phones, the stock player comes from the manufacturer. Also, nothing is stopping Winamp from putting out an Android player that syncs with their desktop app. Google isn't stopping it. It's perfectly legal and allowed. If Winamp doesn't want to make an app that syncs with their desktop software, that's totally Winamp's call. If you want that app, Winamp is who you should gripe to, not Google.
