It's hitting the fan over at virgin's facebook page. No internet/data, no pic messaging, no minute checker function. Seriously, this worries me. What's the problem and is Sprint having the same problems?

My 3G is not working at the moment. They have been doing alot of work in order to get the data throttle implemented. I think this is just a stupid mashup

hey guys i had 4g issues today i couldnt connect to 4g. on my evo 4g. just do a factory data reset. that fixed my issue on not being bale to connect to 4g

You're not the only one who's worried. For several days I've been reading the Facebook comments with increasing concern. At first the Social Media team were calling it a text message outage with a resolution of 2/12; as of tonight, I saw them calling it a "national outage" without a resolution date.

Right now, only one of the three phones in my house is affected - MMS problems with an Elite - but the continuing problems and lack of information or resolution date really makes me wonder what happened. Obviously, the system update messed things up in a big way. The fact that my accounts, and other Virgin Mobile users I know, were never notified of the update's completion, suggests to me that they quit migrating accounts partway through the system upgrade. Hopefully, they won't finish until these errors have been completely fixed. What a mess!

On the plus side, if you know a software engineer in search of a new job, I know where there may be some openings.

I went through the comments and it looks like there is a resolution date.

I hope it's fixed sooner, but if it isn't fixed by then, I'm pissed. Actually, I'm already pissed enough.
