When will we start seeing decent games being developed for the Android platform?

If Worms or Angry birds ported over they could make a killing on the Android Market whilst still only charging a quid or two for the download

If you're a fan of Worms, Armored Strike Online is pretty fun, and like the name implies, it can be played online over 3G or Wifi.

Where could one find such wee gems, as I can't see any on the marketplace, unless there is another source of games out there in the wide wide web?

Zenonia is another fantastic one if you're a fan of action RPG's. I tend to find games by browsing the "top paid", "top free", and "just in" sections and just look for the highest ratings.

There are lots of great Android games already available, why don't you start by telling us a genre?
If you just want to see what's good out there, check my site, I try to focus on quality games (ok, the review today wasn't ;-) ).
At the moment I would recommend Caligo Chaser, Zenonia, Fish Food and Sky Force Reloaded, these are the best games released in April IMO.
