My Granddaughter has this as a replacement phone. We found it on ebay for 26 dollars and something cents. And I found a pretty pink with butterflys silicone case for it. She is a txting nut and is giving a workout. It is a bit slower and she had to adapt her fingers to the smaller screen but it is working for her. Plus the smaller footprint makes it harder for her to break it and for the teachers to see it. A fourteen year old's dream. She does wish it was faster. I looked at the rooting and also noted that there has been an update to it. Her call quality is good too I might add. A person could do much worse for the money I would say.
