Deciding about moving to Sprint in ATL

OK I was with TMobile for last 7 years with regular voice cell. I recently moved to VZ becasue of coverage and dropped calls and getting ready for a smart phone, was bummed that Bionic got pushed and the TBolt has hirrible battery life. I am not big on ATT with limited data plans and them recently tiering/capping my UVerse. So in the spirit of support competition and the desitre for a pure android expierience I am considering Sprint and the Nexus 4G. My concern is the overall Sprint coverage. I left TM becasue of dropped calls and spotty coverage so I am wondering if any of you are in the ATL area and in particular the entire Northern Georgia areas snce I routinely drive up through the North Georgia mountains, to let me know what voice coverage as well as 4G coverage is like?

Well it depends. I drive all over the place in north Georgia. From Rome over to Cornelia. Up to blairsville down through dahlonega, alpharetta and all around the city. I can tell you that I usually have excellent coverage. I can also tell you that 3 of my sister in laws recently switched from t mobile and they are amazed at how much better their overall service is. They have all commented about fewer drops and better service area. Also my buddy and his wife switched over from big red, paying half what they were and are extremely pleased with their service. They told me they never would have believed sprint was so good.

That said. Between Cleveland and blairsville you will lose service for a few miles. And you would lose it on any carrier period. That is to say their are dead spots in the mountains on all of them. Can't be helped. But overall I and everyone I've recommended have been very happy with sprint here.
