Decorating Your Christmas Tree

Step one:

Put tree in watering stand and add water.

Step two:

After the branches drop a bit (usually 4-6 hours depending on how it looked when you bought/cut it) then put on some lights:

Only two of us and 3 cats. Buy small artificial tree with lights on already and decorate to taste. Christmas over, put tree back in bag and store in basement for next year.

Needles are not good for cats. We used a 6ft artificial with needles and the damn cat tried to eat those. We finally sprayed tree with cat away.

The current one has paper type needles.

Step three:

Put on ornaments, garland and tinsel;



VIOLA!

Step four (optional):

Put down a skirt to place your gifts on at the base of the tree. We usually do this on Christmas Eve to keep the skirt from getting wet before Christmas Day.
