Help Deezer + HTC One X - Tracks Jumping?

Hey all,

I'm on an Orange UK panther plan that comes with 2 free swappables.

I've just chosen Deezer as one app, and initial thoughts is that its awesome! but!

nearly every single track seems to "jump" for a microsecond. very noticeable but wondering if anyone is experience this on their Deezer app? or is this how Deezer ensures tracks can't be pirated as they insert random jumps?

I'm exactly the same, even when the tracks are downloaded, they jump slightly.

I've only noticed it being the first song I listen too though, are you noticing it on every song?
 
you know what, never thought of that, but yes it seems to be every 1st song then if its in a playlist, the rest seems fine? hmmm...will experiment tonight but omg, that thing is so worth
 
No problem. :)

Agreed though, I picked up Deezer and SkySports and whilst there are a few quirks to both, there's no complaints from me. I can't believe I get both for free.
 
actually prez (all i can think of is dead prez with that name, " its bigger than hip-hop, hip-hop..."), have you noticed how much battery that Deezer app eats up?

im wondering if the 4 cores are at full whack for that app instead of using the basic ninja core?....or it just me? lol
 
Ninja Core, never heard it called that before, quality :p

Kinda, I find that if I'm downloading tracks in the background, it decimates the battery, but actually listening to music, it's not so bad.
 
Same thing happens with my one x! it must be either the phone or deezer, nothing to do with the network as im on vodafone! I had a desire HD before with deezer on it same playlist etc and never experienced this problem. Its so weird and you feel like your making a big deal out of nothing cause it is litterally a millisecond but if you listen to music loud its so noticable. Maybe we could email deezer and tell them! they might not be aware.
 
I've an email from Deezer support confirming this is an issue with the One X dated 18th June. Seems they're in no rush to address it though.

I also occasionally get corruption in the music cache (am also an orange+deezer user) though I think this is more likely related to the audio player side of things as cached music files behave in the same way (for me, affects all files).
 
Just downloaded an update to Deezer and My One X has also had an update to ICS4.0.4/Sense4.1...still it has this issue; I've had my phone since April!

Sort it out guys!
 
Hi... I have the same problem ... Some songs just seam to pause and jump even 5 sec ... Mostly if I syncinin HQ ... And always same songs ...and on normal quality only 5 songs don't play normal ...
I have lg g3 on lollipop and s4 on custom ROM ....and on s4 I have no problems ...
 
I've not had this issue for a while. Deezer has had several updates since this thread was created and it appears to have resolved the issues.

Are you using the latest version?

Yes i did updated it today and deleted all the data and syncd againe ...I do HQ on SD card ...
 
Version 4.0.5.2 ...
But update before this one was working but it was working on android 5.0 V20A and V20C and since then I got V20D and the last V20D which should be last update for my lg and it doesn't work ... Sooo
