Default applications

I have recently upgraded from and s4 mini to the s7edge. On my old phone when using showbox I was always asked what app I wanted to use to play the video,whether it be all cast vlc player or mx player. On the S7 edge when I select the player to use it then automatically uses that every time as a default. Is there anyway of changing the settings so it always asks me what to open with other than having to go into the settings every time and removing the default application.

Samsung removed the choice 'Always' and 'Just once' for 'Complete action using' ?
A work-around could be the free app 'Better Open With' on Google Play
