Default browser not setting

Hi
When I click a web link and it opens another web instance (or for that matter any application where theres an option to set it as default), my tab s seems unable to remember defaults!

I'm now on my second device and its got the same problem as the first one. Any ideas?

I've read some forum posts that this appears to happen mostly on samsung devices (randomly).

Sorted.its was the national express app (uk).its now working properly now removed. Took 6 months to find this out by removing every app and testing To see if it worked. Suspected an app as it remembered defaults after resetting before all the apps got reinstalled so I knew it was one of them... Think android has a problem in testing.
