Default Mail App

Hi,
Does anyone know if you can stop the default mail app from hiding older emails? It seems anything 3 weeks or older gets hidden from the inbox and its stupid annoying... You can click on LOAD MORE MESSAGES to get them to show but what a pain in the ass.. especially if you aren't connected to any network.

Thanks,

James

Hahaha yeah I guess a little info wouldn't hurt my bad...

Its the Galaxy S3 running Android version 4.4.2

Default app is just called Email... Version 4.4.2.0200

If you need anything else, lemme know!

Thanks,

Hey,

Have you checked the settings for how much past mail to sync? It might be different on the samsung (touchwiz?) but on my HTC, if I go to the settings within "Email", then "Sync, Send & Receive" I have an option for "Download past mail". By default I think on the HTCs this is set to 7 days, and anything older than that doesn't appear in my inbox but I usually just set this to "All" and then I see everything.

I never thought about the sync settings... Little different procedure for getting into those settings on the S3.. However, I found them and set the frequency from two weeks to all... So I believe that did the trick! Thank you for the tip that was perfect!
