Help Default Program option

Hi All! In android 5.0.1 the default program selection offered you an opportunity to select the program just once or always. I don't have that option in 5.1.1 anymore...anyway to get it back or do I just have to learn to live without it?

I believe it's a Samsung thing,since my LG G Stylo has the options for one-time use or default,on the same Android version (5.1.1)& if memory serves me correct,so does the Nexus 6.
Sammy needs to fix this,it is essentially broken,nonsensical in the form it exists today.

Hmmm I wonder... my note 4 had it on 5.0.1 but i dont remember if it went away with 5.1.1

oddly enough its on my galaxy tab s2 running 5.1.1
