Default video player

Is there a way to change the default video player. Having problems using Showbox. Keeps locking up I'm going back to the beginning.

Just install a different video player from the play store. VLC is recommended

I like MX PLAYER pro.

I used to love and use MX Player Pro but they did away with a play format I use. VLC plays all the needed formats I use and need and I have it set as default.
