Delay in contact name display

[Android Question]

I ahve a android fon and when some person tries to call me,the contact name is displayed after a long delay. i tried cleaning my RAM memory using task manager.
Please help me in this. Thank you.

Welcome to Android Forums. Depending on what software (dialer) you are using, some have a delay you can adjust or turn off completely. Get your dialer on screen and press the menu key and it should be an option in there. If you would a more detailed answer you should go to your phones forum thread.

I'd avoid using a task manager... you might to try going into your app settings and clearing the cache for the dialer app.
