I have an original moto g and an original nexus 7. Neither of these devices have received the lollipop update. Does anyone know when I should get the updates?

5.0.2 is rolling out now. My wife's 2012 Nexus 7 got it last night and my 2013 Nexus 7 got it about an hour ago. You should be getting it anytime in the next few days. The Moto G update is also supposed to be rolling out now.

Hi, how is the 5.0.2 update working on your Nexus 7 2013? It's just appeared on my notifications, and I'm a bit nervous of installing! Have you had any problems or any slowing down? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Running 5.0.2 with no problems at all. I'm writing this reply on my 2013 Nexus 7. IMHO don't be afraid of installing it.
In fact, I did standard OTA Lollipop updates on all of our devices - a Nexus 4, a Nexus 5, a 2012 Nexus 7, a 2013 Nexus 7 and we have a Nexus 6. The tablets are on 5.0.2, the phones 5.0.1. Did not do a factory reset afterwards, no cache cleaning, nothing, just let the OTA updates install.
None of the devices are having any problems. Everything is running smoothly and reliably. Actually, I've done many OTA updates since buying a G1 running Android 1.0 and never had a problem, nor has any of several friends and family members who have owned Android devices for years.

Thanks for the reply. For info, my Nexus 7 is still on KitKat 4.4.4, and this is the first Lollipop OTA update I've received. I've updated in the past without problems myself, but Lollipop seems to have had a lot more bugs than usual, so I'm being a bit more careful! Thanks for all the info, I'll do the install later!
