Delete/Merge Duplicate Contacts

Hello,
I'm new to this forum but I've read a lot of threads about merging and deleting duplicate contacts. Unfortunately I couldn't found the answer which I need.

I imported all contacts from SIM to phone but I don't know for what reason now I have all contacts duplicated. I also want to say that it's not about Google or FB contacts it's just contacts from my SIM. If anyone can help me to merge or delete all duplicate contacts I would be very thankful.

P.S. I can do it (delete) manually but it will take a lot of time.
 
I haven’t checked this on my droid, but on the PC end of Google Contacts, clicking More offers Find and Merge Duplicates.
 
I had a similar problem with contacts. What I did was first make sure I had the contacts I needed on Google, then I reset my phone.
 
With the People app you can choose in its settings which contacts (SIM, phone book, Googles ...) will be shown in People.

With the phone dialer app you can't choose, it will show you all contacts.
