Unable to delete scans and they have started to accumulate. I'm using the free version. Don't want to delete this app and then reinstall.

Use a file explorer like Astro or Root Explorer to navigate to the Camscanner folder. All your scanned documents are in there: just check them and delete at will

You can long hold on the doc icon in My Docs to bring up the delete option.

Also, you can delete multiple docs at one time. If you put your finger in the middle of the my docs page and pull down about 1/4 of an inch (if you pull down more it will activate the sync function), you will reveal some options on a green bar that appears just below the dark area at the top of the screen. On the right side you will see a check mark. Touch the check mark and then you will see little dots appear on all all the docs. Select each doc by touching the dot and then touch on the delete icon at the bottom right of the screen to delete all selected files.
