delete yahoo news feed from locked screen

I have yahoo news crawl on my locked screen. I didn't dowmnload it. Can't make it stop. I am using the Samsung 3. New phone.

I cant get the yahoo news feed to stop appearing on my locked screen. I did not knowing download. This. Eats up my battery and is driving me crazy! Please help!!!

Settings > Lock Screen > Lock Screen Options

From here, you can either turn the Information Ticker off completely or change it to Facebook or Stock by tapping Information Ticker > Content Type

Pl remove it permanent ly . I have registered with android forum with Google account .
