Root deleted mms m835

i deleted mms off my wife's phone lol i tried a restore to fac. default but it didn't come back is there any way to fix this ? or reinstall the mms files i deleted ?
 
HAHAHA! I'm sorry, I've been messing with my friend about the MMS application for days, its funny hearing him think of the worst case scenarios...how if management found out how to delete that, he wouldn't be able to Text.

Did you try perhaps the Stock Restorer? I think this one is for the M835, haven't had to restore any phones...yet.

Do I just send that to the SD card then install it with clockworkmod ?
I've tried the cm7 and it almost works LOL just can't send mms. And no internet now LOL
Ill give that stock rom a try thanks..

Yup, to the SD card and the old update I believe.

I'd really give you a sure answer but I've never had to restore. Hope it comes out working or its hide the evidence and demand a working phone thing at a Metro Store.

That didn't work, clockwork starts then gives me some error then reboots ?
the error happens to fast to read, i hope someone comes up with something.

i got the cm7 on there now and now all calls have stopped but text works.

Having a half working phone doesn't really help nor is it safe these days...

If you can't find a working fix with CM7, you should really go back and see about being able to get another one, hopefully for free.

If I knew more about CM itself and the apps, I'd love to walk you through it but I'm learning as I go as well

i just hooked up her old tapout ascend (shes mad as %$#@ lol)
so ill just keep messing with it and see what happens, ill post back if i can get it working..

Whoa, whoa, whoa, don't go bricking that one now! LOL.

I'm not so sure the apps are that genetic, so...its a long shot. Just don't play doctor with the Tapout...there's barely any existence of it so support is minimal, the Ascend Non-Tapout is different apparently.

Really wish you luck here, knowledge exceeded...

md5 mismatch, right?
got that too when i tried a cwm recovery- ultrajack always worked 4me, tho but apparently sum things just NEED cwm to install correctly. n im stuck like chuck too:rolleyes::o
 
i just flashed the cm7-2 ascend on it lol and everything works, but the screen is to small for that rom it cuts off the dial pad.
anyone no witch phone has the closest screen size that i could try ?

Glad to hear things worked out, would be pretty steamed I bet if you had to return it, or worse, get a brand new one. xD
