Android Question

Dear community,

While copying files over from my Nexus 4 (LG) to my Mac using the Android File Transfer program I found a file called <none> in my DCIM-folder and since it was only about 207KB I didn't think much of it and deleted it. Well, it turned out that after deleting that file I didn't only have 207KB more storage on my phone, but also another 4GB due to the fact that now all of my camera pictures and other pictures in the DCIM folder are all "gone". The folder is completely empty when I open it on my phone but when I open it with Android File Transfer it still has all the pictures in it, I can't copy them over on my Mac though. I'm reeeaally hoping that <none> file was just an indexing file or something similar so that I didn't lose all of my pictures. Does anyone have any solutions?

Thank you very much!
